Sunday 20th of January at the Wellington Model Aircraft Club.
Course set up at 0900, Pilot Briefing and flying commences after track is set up. Practice until around 11:30. Racing should finish mid afternoon.
Entry for this event is $10. We will collect money at the start, no $ no flying. This mainly pays for gates, and repairs.
Must be a member of Wellington Model Aircraft Club. You can come as a guest up to 3 times, any more requires a membership. See wmac.org.nz. Membership of WMAC also gives you MFNZ membership which includes insurance.
Eligible Multirotors – Whatever you want! No restrictions, within reasons for safety (nothing really massive, still has to fit through gates).
Frequencies will be assigned, do not use any other frequencies - this set of channels is designed to minimize interference so everyone should have good video. Channels use are R1, R2, F2, F4, F8/R7, R8.
We will be using 25mw vtx power. This will be enforced. Hammers on site.
Recommended VTX / antenna as per Rotorcross New Zealand spec. This will not be enforced but if you are not running spec and cause video issues for other people you won't be able to race. No dipole/linear vtx antennas allowed.
